First Time Here?
Welcome!
Thanks for visiting Deadenddays.com, the first (and still best) socially relevant weekly zombie Internet comedy series type-thing. With the epic storyline of
mankind’s battle to… sell… the undead… stuff… now complete, joining in on the over four hours of fun can seem a little daunting; Not to fear, we’ve charted four easy steps for new viewers to jump right in!
Step One - Watch the trailer
We have a shiny new series trailer that (attempts) to give you an overview of the show in about a minute. check it out on the trailer page, and if you’re still not sure…
Step Two - Try an episode (or three)
Admittedly, all fourty-eight episodes and four “specials” (episodes primarily based on “behind the scenes” zaniness - not the main story) stacked end-to-end is a little daunting, sure. That’s why we polled our audience to suggested the following “no previous experience necessary” episodes. They are from early in the story so they don’t have any *major* plot spoilers - but are far more enjoyable in context, with a notion of the characters and the master plot. Consider it our “appetizer sampler” plate.
Sample Episodes 5,15 and 17 will be available here again once our higher-resolution 5th Anniversary Podcast Reaches Those Episodes!
Step Three - Read up
If you don’t want to watch the series from the beginning - or want to catch up with where a friend is watching from, we have The Story So Far section, which contains short text summaries of each episode that can get you up to speed in a flash. Also a great place to brush up if it’s been a while and you want a quick plot refresher!
Note: These text summaries contain major plot spoilers
Step Four - Watch the Show
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the show, we’re re-running the entire series in a new high(er) resolution podcast that will conclude on Halloween 2008! Currently two new episodes will be available a week (on Tuesday and Thursday’s) at approximately midnight EST. Of course if you’re bad with delayed gratification you can Pick up the whole series in a 4-Disc DVD set right now!
Step Five - Visit the forums
Did we not cover something here? Come visit our friendly discussion forums! If you want to ask a question about the show, chat with the cast and crew, or argue vehemently about movies or absolutely inconsequential pop-culture tidbits (is it “Batman” or “The Batman”?) that would be the place. Forums moderator Firefox will take good care of you… more or less.
Wasn’t that easy? Five simple steps and you’ll be as “in the know” as any of the scary DED uberfans. Then the entire site will be your oyster, the world will beat a path to your feet, and you can lord your superior knowledge over friend and enemy alike. Or not… your call really.
Enjoy!
